Originally built in 1959 by Athol and Merle Bailey, Baileys Motel has provided beachfront accommodation in Whitianga for 56 Years.

Over recent times, many changes have taken place. Baileys at the Beach is the result of extensive renovation and rebuilding. We now have a total of 9 units, and offer a range of room configurations, including:

- 3 Premium Studio Units - Prime position upstairs gives excellent sea views from the private deck at the front of each unit. Super-king bed, very well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and lovely lounge area, these units will ensure your stay is of supreme comfort and enjoyment.
- 4 Premium One-Bedroom Units - Very well equipped units with 2 single beds and a Queen bed in separate bedroom. Brand new kitchens and bathrooms make for the best quality units for your family break!
- 2 Family One-Bedroom Units - These units offer the best value for money at Baileys at the Beach, yet still offer the same sea views as the rest of the units and the same configurations, although there is slightly more room in the lounge area for your family to relax and enjoy your stay.

We are 2 km from the centre of Whitianga or a short 20 minute walk along the beach or footpath to the restaurants, cafes and bars.

Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach, Hahei & Cathedral Cove are just 30 minutes drive. Whangapaoa and New Chums Beach is 30 minutes away. Coromandel Town is a 1 hour drive away.
