March Madness
We've got another busy month coming up for the Coromandel. Whangamata will play host to hundereds of pre 50's and 60's vehicles at the annual Beach Hop while Whitianga gets thier share of petrol power at the Leadfoot festival and off shore powerboat racing. Those who like a bit of adrenalin but without the fuel, come and check out the Pauanui Storm Contracting Trolley Derby or the Thames Trolley Derby.
For those keen to reflect on the past and celebrate yesteryear, step back in time for a week of Heritage at the Thames Heritage Week while others might prefer to volunteer in the Great Coromandel Coastal Clean-up
Coromandel Town will host the Champagne and Pancake Fundraiser Breakfast in support of Breast Cancer and for the children the Thames Childrens Day is always loads of fun. Watch the sweat pour as teams battle it out at the annual Thames Tug Off, the ARC Adventure Race and the Colville Connection. If that's not enough to keep the calendar full, you'll also need to mark out the Paeroa Food and Wine Festival, Music at the Point in Pauanui and the Mercury Bay Art Escape's Taste of the Tour.
