Tennis whites and shoes aren't mandatory - bare feet, sun screen and a spare tennis ball are, old school hair cuts are also appropriate. A chilly bin of refreshments and a sun umbrella wouldn't go astray. Old wooden racquets can be found in the club house as can a pair of skates if that's how you roll.
