Long Bay

Coromandel Town

Long Bay Beach is the closet beach to Coromandel Town.

Travelling 3 km northwest of Coromandel Town along MacGregors Bay and stunning scenery.

Depending on the tides it can be a short walk across the sand flats.

Access is from Long Bay Motor Camp. Public Parking is along the beachfront and there is also a camp store.

Take a walk around to Tucks Bay and onto the Kauri Grove track and marvel at the native Kauri at different stages of growth – it is a beautiful and gentle walk in a perfect beach setting.
