Mercury Bay Estate can fulfill all wedding venue requirements for up to 200 seated guests. We offer two alternatives:

Cellar Door (up to 40 guests)

Cellar door is situated on the highest point of Mercury Bay Estate and boasts amazing views over the vines and out to sea. With its rustic style and charm and adjoining undercover expansive deck, it makes for a perfect location for the smaller private function and is also suitable for pre-reception drinks/nibbles and can comfortably allow up to 150 standing guests to mingle inside and out without feeling crowded.

Marquee by the pond (up to 200 seated guests)

Mercury Bay Estate commands the most spectacular views. We have spent many years developing the grounds to create a simply stunning setting for weddings and special events. The grounds include a marquee platform situated adjacent to the pond which overlooks our Pinot Noir vines and out to Mercury Bay itself. The site will house a marquee large enough to cater for up to 200 seated guests.

We supply all sized, fully lined wedding marquees, ranging from 10m x 5m to a 10m x 25m in size. We arrange everything from fairy lights, chandeliers, tables/chairs, table cloths and cutlery etc… Naturally the price will vary depending on the amount of guests you are expecting to attend your special event. If you would like a quote then approximate numbers will be required.

Food

Mercury Bay Estate specializes in creating gourmet antipasto platters made with local cuisine, although this will be suitable for the likes of pre-receptions drink/nibbles or lunch it will likely not suffice for larger events such as weddings etc... For all events requiring a three course meal an outside caterer of your choice should be arranged. There are a number of mobile and local caterers that provide spectacular food. We can of course suggest a few.

Alcohol

Mercury Bay Estate has a full range of wine, we invite the event holder to come to a comprehensive wine tasting at Cellar Door to sample and choose which wines are to be selected for the event. All beverages must be supplied by Mercury Bay Estate, all of which are at very competitive prices.
