Tatahi Lodge

Whitianga
Motel Tatahi Lodge Backpacker kitchen/dining Waimarie Vila

Tatahi Lodge is centrally situated in the picturesque seaside village of Hahei on the east coast of The Coromandel, New Zealand, home of the world famous Cathedral Cove.

Nestled within 1.5 acres of tropical gardens lawns and bush are just 10 accommodation units plus a purpose built backpacker lodge which sleeps a maximum of 23.

Tatahi Lodge is entirely low rise with all accommodation options featuring natural timber interiors which harmonise with the tropical garden and bush setting.

The Lodge design affords quests plenty of space and privacy with the only distractions being the birdsong of native tuis, kereru and morpork, and the sound of the Pacific Ocean as it breaks onto Hahei beach.

Once you have arrived at Tatahi Lodge, put away the car keys . Our central location means everything is within walking distance until it is time to explore Hot Water Beach !
