Te Mata Lodge
Located in the beautiful Te Mata region, just 20 minutes north of Thames, Te Mata Lodge is the perfect base for exploring all that the Coromandel Peninsula has to offer.
There is a choice of 1 and 2 bedroom cottages or two-storey chalets, each offering comfort, views, BBQs and outdoor seating (decks and patios)and a lovely peaceful night's sleep well away from any road noise
Te Mata Lodge itself is nestled in a sunny valley with 10 acres of native bush and garden, bordered by a picturesque stream with several safe swimming holes. If you prefer the beach, it's just 10 minutes walking distance!
On site you can swim, kayak, walk the native plant trail, rock hound, pan for gold or go with Warwick on a night tour of the glowworm grotto and view of the magnificent southern sky. All free of charge.
