The Muddy River Cafe
The Muddy River Cafe is a converted Dairy factory building in the heart of Turua on the Hauraki Plains, as the speed limit is 50k through Turua access is easy, plenty of parking and just a short walk to the Jetty and a lovely view of the Waihou River and the start of the Coromandel Peninsula ranges.
The menu is well designed and homemade, catering for all tastes. Open at 10.00am till late Wednesday to Sunday.
Just a short drive from 3 major cities, Tauranga, Hamilton and Auckland, Lovely for a Sunday destination. The atmosphere is very relaxed and customers are graced with the cafe’s icon and Legend “Floyd the Flounder” Great for groups, so if you are planning a birthday or you want to organise a family function The Muddy is the place to have it.
