Glass Bottom Boat takes to the skies
Glass Bottom Boat operates year-round from the Whitianga wharf, with tours that get you up close to everything above and below the pristine blue waters off Te-Whanganui o Hei, Cathedral Cove. The Flying Kiwi hunts with his drone up and down our beautiful coastline, capturing those good for your soul moments. You can check out more of his work on the video link or on IG @iamtheflyingkiwi.
If you're heading our way, getting out on the water to Cathedral Cove is a must. Hayley and Mark and The Glass Bottom Boat Whitianga have taken to the skies to share the magic they experience every day out on the waters of the Mercury Bay. The footage from The Flying Kiwi combines great aerial, underwater and onboard footage. And you get up close to some of the magnificent marine animals that cruise the marine reserve, just below the glass bottom of the boat.
The Glass Bottom Boat operates out of Whitianga all year round. Visitors rave about it on Trip Advisor, and you can check out the latest on Facebook. It's a one of a kind tour, taking in the very popular Cathedral Cove plus the spectacular coastline from Whitianga to Hot Water Beach. The large glass viewing panels provide a window into the underwater world, and if you want to get really close, don a snorkel and jump on in!
