Consultation. Surveys and Workshops

As a DMO it is our job to ensure that planning for the region takes into account the aspirations and needs of all parties –  locals, mana whenua, businesses, visitors, and the environment.


Extensive regional research and profiling was undertaken to inform the consultation process that we used to gather input for our DMP.  Sources included Marketview (regional spend data), Infometrics (regional economic profiling), Fresh Info (visitor numbers), TCDC and HDC data and plans, Tourism Sentiment Index and Market Perception insights.
