The Coromandel is known for the great outdoors and wide-open natural spaces, and some of our top spots can be enjoyed up close by travellers with limited mobility or special requirements.
Around The Coromandel, there are a great number of public buildings that provide access for mobility impaired persons. Commercial accommodation providers must offer rooms that suit visitors with limited mobility, with features such as wider doors, wheelchair access and bathroom railings.
Most parking areas have spaces allocated for mobility impaired travellers, as well as at many beachside locations.
