Our 5 times a day bus drops you right at all the best places for you to enjoy the beach, relax with brunch, or entertain at lunch!

  • Ferry Landing: at the bus stop to the left after you get off the ferry

  • Cooks Beach: Cooks Beach Store, 26 Captain Cook Road (close to Kaizen and The Vessel)

  • Mercury Bay Estate: road side, 761 Purangi Road. You will have to walk the driveway to the winery

  • The Hive: road side, 450 Purangi Rd

  • Hahei: the bus stop outside the Hahei General Store, 46 Hahei Beach Road (around the corner from the Pour House)

  • Hot Water Beach: the bus stop on Pye Place (between Hot Waves Cafe and Hotties Eatery)

  • Operating: weekends from 21st October, including Labour Day - through to 23rd December. Then 7 days a week from 27th December, closed New Years Day - through to 4th February

  • Please ensure you are ready and waiting for the bus, we do our best to stick to our timetable, and as such we won't wait beyond the departure times listed

  • Ensure you allow yourself plenty of time if catching the bus from Ferry Landing, we won’t wait even if there is a ferry on it’s way. Sorry!

  • Unfortunately the Beach Bus doesn’t have any luggage storage facilities, no room for suitcases or surfboards

  • Children are 14 years and under, ID may be required

  • Tickets can be purchased on line up to the day before. On the day via cash or eftpos to the driver

  • 18 seats maximum on bus, we recommend booking
