He Mana Toi Moehau Trust/Creative Coromandel warmly invites you to attend ‘Flourish’, a special event celebrating the success of the Coromandel’s first artist mentoring programme, pARTner Up.
‘Flourish’ will take place on Saturday 20 March and Sunday 21 March at Hauraki House in Coromandel Town.
pARTner Up visual artists; Tyler Downey, Heather Watt, Jackie Francis, Deborah Hide-Bayne, Elisabeth Carter and Amy Rogers will exhibit new works and selected works will be for purchase. pARTner Up performing artists Pete Aldrich and Charli McDougall will give performances. ‘Flourish will also include a short Q & A with two of the mentors at the opening event.
The event will also premiere the ‘Flourish’ documentary, a short film featuring insights from pARTner Up mentees.
pARTner Up commenced in July 2020 and was created by Creative Coromandel with funding from Creative New Zealand’s Arts Continuity Grant, with the aim of connecting a group of Thames-Coromandel based creatives with experienced artist mentors for a nine month period.
