Enjoy an entertaining and informative 1.5 hours of gold panning with Geologist and gold-mining historian, Ash Franklyn. Ash will lead you into a safe and fun creekside panning experience where you'll learn how to discover gold and hear about the incredible gold mining history of Coromandel, specifically Coromandel Town. Tours operate daily at set times, but private arrangement can be made. Minimum 2 adults per tour.

Our two walking tours are the Talk of the Town walking tour and a guided tour of the museum. Hear some of the fascinating stories of what took place in Coromandel Town!
