Opoutere Coastal Camping

We are a small, private campground with spacious powered / non-powered sites & rustic cabins available. Onukuhou Stream runs through the campground and the property borders the forest leading to Opoutere beach. We have an onsite store & coffee station where you can purchase, snacks, refreshments and other general groceries. The camp offers two communal kitchens, flush toilets, coin operated showers & laundry blocks. There is also a dayroom (TV, Table Tennis, Book Exchange), BBQs, picnic tables, fish filleting bay, and a grey water dump station. Opoutere is a great location from which to explore some of New Zealand's best scenery in the Coromandel Peninsula. Hot Water Beach & access to Cathedral Cove can be reached within a 45min drive.
