Thames-Coromandel & Hauraki Cemeteries

As any keen family historian will tell you, visiting cemeteries is a vital part of the research process.

About

As any keen family historian will tell you, visiting cemeteries is a vital part of the research process. Thames-Coromandel District Council has oversight of 13 cemeteries, while Hauraki District Council looks after three cemeteries, two memorial walls and an ashes wall. Many of the people who helped to make the region what it is today lie in cemeteries that, somewhat ironically, make history come alive in a very personal way.

These web sites will take you to further information about The Coromandel's cemeteries.
