We are located within a short distance of one of the most popular surf beaches on the coast and only 45 minutes drive to Tauranga. Known for its excellent weather and beautiful beaches, Waihi Beach is an exciting holiday destination and close to the famous Martha Mine Availability: Due to our population influx we generally do not hold weddings over Public Holiday weekends, nor from Boxing Day thru to February 6th Inclusive. Otherwise we are available all year round . Venue Hire: The cost of the Venue Hire is $6.00 per Person incl GST. Minimum 50 people, maximum 120. Hire cost includes access and use of the restaurant from 10am until 1am the day of your wedding. And also covers the cleaning of the restaurant, supply of cutlery, glassware, napkins and synthetic cloth for bridal and guest tables. We require a 20% deposit of the menu cost two months before the proposed date. Menus: We have two Menu options available. Please dont hesitate to ask about any changes that you would like to make to these Menus. In addition we offer finger food platters for your guests whilst they are waiting for the bridal party to arrive if these are required. Tables: We have long rectangular tables we use and can make tables up to whichever numbers suit you providing they fit appropriately in the space provided. Generally we set the bridal table at the top end and run the tables at 90 degrees so no backs are showing however we can arrange tables differently if requested. Entertainment: There is a dance floor in the restaurant and you are welcome to bring in your own entertainment whether it be a band or DJ etc. The R.S.A does have a jukebox which is kept up to date as well as having older music also. This can be used via arrangement with the Secretary/Manager. Decorating: Weddings in the past have decorated themselves to ensure the cor-rect theme colours etc are used. However if you require decorating to be done we can arrange this at an extra cost. (materials, Labour etc) The restaurant is available from 10am for decorating purposes however exceptions can be made to this time if need be. Transport: The R.S.A has two Courtesy / Welfare coaches which operate Thursday to Sunday from 4pm. This service is extended to seven days over our busy summer period. Pick up is FREE, but there is a CHARGE to be taken home. Waihi Beach $2, Bowentown and Athenree $3 & Waihi $4, Beverages: The R.S.A supply all beverages, we are not a licensed B.Y.O. All beverage details are to be arranged with either Bill Garth or Liz Parker We are licensed until 1am. The bar has a comprehensive range of beers, RTDs, Spirits and wines. There is also a full range of Non-Alcoholic beverages available. Other Facilities The R.S.A also has a spacious bar area for your guests to enjoy before and after the reception. - 4 Snooker Tables - 4 Pool Tables - A Gaming Room with 16 machines - 3 big screen Televisions - Jukebox And of course the best views of Waihi Beach.
