Creative Mercury Bay proudly presents Whiti Fest 2021: Summer Busking Festival taking place on Sunday 7 February, Waitangi Day long weekend.
Held in 5 locations in the Whitianga Town centre, Whiti Fest will turn the sidewalks into stages with explosions of local performing arts talent.
Featuring a range of local performance artists, from puppetry to poetry to dance and music, performers include; En Pointe Dance School, Let’s Go Descarrego (official Whiti Fest Ambassadors), Vegas Brown, Soul Sax, Naranjarte, Pete Delete and so much more!
Each artist will perform two 20 minute sets at two different locations, so you can see as many performances as possible.
Like a traditional busking festival our performers will be putting their hats out for koha, so if you like what you see, hear or experience, feel free to donate.
Cruise around town and soak up all the performances at your leisure. This is a FREE, family-friendly event, all welcome!
The arts heal, entertain and inspire us and we reckon Whiti Fest is just what we need to kick 2021 off with a bang!
