Our respect for nature and our beautiful environment unites us in The Coromandel, it's why we are here. Being part of the wild beauty of our place is our privilege, but it is also our duty to care for and protect the place that sustains us, and to show visitors how they can contribute too.

As we tell our stories to our visitors, by sharing our love for and knowledge of our land and waters and the wildlife that makes their home here, we can build understanding and empathy. We can explain how we take care, what we care about and how we are working to a future where all our wildlife thrives, alongside our communities.   And we can pass on our locals' tips to make sure visitors understand the things they can do as they travel and explore to make sure they play their part in the protection of all our biodiversity, and all we value about life here in The Coromandel.
